In order to become an Oracle Certified Professional,
you should complete the following steps:
Step 1
Review the Oracle Candidate
Certification Guide
Obtain the Oracle Candidate Certification Guide for
the track you would like to pursue. Review the track
information and requirements to complete your
certification. The candidate guide can be
viewed/downloaded from the OCP Track page.
Step 2
Review the Test Content
Checklist
The Test Content Checklist is located in the Oracle
Candidate Certification Guide. The checklist will list
the test objectives to give you insight of the
knowledge required for completion of the test. Go
through the test preparation section in the
candidate guide to choose which method of
preparing is best for you.
Step 3
Register for your test &
Redeem your 35% Employee
Discount
Oracle University has partnered with Prometric
Testing to insure the highest quality delivery for your
exams with the least amount of hassle. There are
now two different ways candidates can register for
and schedule their exams.
New Online Registration allows candidates to
schedule exams at any time using the world
wide web. Please visit the Prometric

Telephone Registration is available in all
locations worldwide during local business
hours.

If you are disabled and require special
assistance when completing your
exam, call Prometric at
1.800.443.1684. This office can
answer questions about what
accommodations can be made for
people with disabilities.
Oracle Employee Discount
For Oracle employees, the price of each test is
$81.25 - a 35% discount off of the $125 general
public price. Provide Promotion Code #S20 to
Prometric on their on line web registration form or
during the telephone registration process.
Pay for your exam using a major credit card. You
can expense the exam fees per your manager's
approval. When you go to the test site, bring 2 forms
of identification, plus your Oracle ID.
Step 4
Take your test
Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled
appointment. Bring 2 forms of identification, plus
your Oracle ID.
You will receive your score report following your
examination. If you are completing a beta version of
an exam, you will receive your score report 10 - 12
weeks following the beta period.
Step 5
Once you are certified
You will receive an OCP Success Kit within 30
days after successfully completing all the tests in
the certification track. Included in the kit will be your
certificate, usage guidelines for the OCP Logo and
a variety of OCP benefits.
If you do not receive your OCP Success Kit 30
days after completing your certification, send an
email message to fulfillment@prometric.com.
Include your first and last name, Sylvan ID# and
current email address.
Oracle's corporate policy does not permit any
additional logos on your Oracle business card. You
may display your OCP status on your Oracle
business card. Your OCP credential should be
listed on two lines under your job title. The OCP
credential titles are listed below:
